PRINT WITHIN BRANDING AND IDENTITY;

I have chosen this print based set/series because i feel that it links very well together. The simplicity of the print method and the actual design allows for a lot of variation in texture, stock and colour so the design can be pushed but still work as a set. The use of having print based media is so that you can feel the stock and also different forms of print such as embossing and screen printing work better as the quality is more effective. Different scales also add to the design pack as it works well exploring a variety of scale of business cards to letterheads to design on stationary and info hand outs.

Purely colour of stock here influences the print method for this type of print used branding. For office and professional purposes, this print based branding is useful and effective. The simple printing onto stock works well, maybe an effective embossment or risen symbol could of enhanced the design more to keep all of the designs as a focused set.

With this set of print designs, the use of embossing the logo of the company works well and effectively as the embossed design adds an extra touch and feel to the designs. Having the designs risen or 'cut out' creates a more professional approach. I feel this is a more creative style of perfecting and enhancing logo and branding as it adds a real sense of professionalism.

The use of embossing the design business card makes the brand look professional and practical. The use of only having this printed onto one colour makes the design seem practical, productive and interesting. The embossed pint is quite hard to read from on a screen, but if the design is printed you would be able to feel the different textures/layers and feel of the business card.

With this series of print designs i feel look very visual interesting. Embossed business cards, Logo branding. Choosing 2/3 colours makes the design look fresh, clean and professional. Stamp design is also interesting way of branding for print and makes the identity of designs look unique and personal as a stamp implies a homemade touch/appeal.

Packaging and Production:

The packaging of this product is unique. The use of fine illustration and inventive and the illustration covers the design of the packaging well as it is rounded and printed to fit in a unique way. The designs look very high end on a productive scale.

The designs look quite old / vintage as the illustration on product looks faded. The packaging of the brand is functional and basic, which is what is needed. The design is simple and informative and communicates the product well.

The use of modern design for the cartons is well used. The clean folds and clean design makes the packaging look expensive and high end, it also adds in the fact that the product looks quite expensive.

Intresting and innovative use of packaging. By placing the product as the packaging creates a unique and well thoughtout design. The use of colour is bold and the idea is fresh. The folding and structure of the packaging looks strong and functional. The brigt yellow is also attractive as packaging goes, as it grabs an audiences attention and allows them to focus on the unique branding of the product. The design looks high-end and works well and would stand out on shelves.

Cleverly using roots creates a high end value to these products. The designs work well in relation to the selling point and creates an eco feel the the wood used on the spoons etc. The designs are focused around the idea of the spoons growing. The packaging is functional and hold the product in place, it is also interesting.

With the two above designs the use of vintage products from the 50/60's. The designs based around function. They are set to a grid based design and work on the idea of strength. Using different material such as tin and cardboard. The designs take an interesting approach to the medical idea and allow for a creative flare.

Simple craft made from white card. Although the folds and general build of the product isn't finished to perfection the design is very simple but also seems quite high end for that reason.
