It's Nice That - D&AD - Design Ideas / Start

DESIGN IDEAS:

I wanted to create a simple application that allows students to visit 'its nice that' in an easy accessible way on their mobile phones.

This is because i feel that technology really relates to students and is a massive means of communication to the intended target audience.

Design Ideas / Thought Process:

I have made a simple gIF to highlight the use of pattern and colour that could be used / how it will work in the application:

I wanted a bright and colourful design layout that could be an appropriate backdrop to the application. The website itself is very busy so it would be hard to make the app difficult and would need to be as simple as possible. 

Possible colours for the background / bearing in mind gender and wether it suits the leents of the website:

Colours such as purple and green would select different sections:
