DESIGNING MY POSTERS - 100 THINGS

STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE POSTER:

These layout are in a very simple structure. All the posters are kept within the same theme and allow for simplicity and layout to be kept minimal. The use of creating a strawberry smoothie was the opposite to the milkshake badness poster design. I had trouble at first with how to and where to place the test. Using a horizontal page design i spread the strawberries out but i was unsure of where type would look suitable and effective. 

Placeing the Logo design in was effective. i used the same shape and also the same - Think - type, i added a slogan and tagline to keep the poster and concept lighthearted and not pressurised. The use of the colours against the tray backgournd i feel made the image 'pop' out which was good because my designs are very simple and without contrasting colours i don't think they would work. 

To create my strawberry image, I drew out a strawberry and scanned the image in onto photos hope. i THEN USED THE SHAPE TOOL AND CREATED DIMOND SHAPES using the strawberry image as an outline. I wanted to create a quirky side the the strawberry image so i didn't fill right up to the outside of the design, I created an irregular balnced berry and decided that would look more creative and effective within my designs. 

I added text about how good a smoothie is. I know that there is a lot of text but from the research i gathered overweight people got embarrassed at asking about flyers and leaflets. i GATHERED IF I PLACED ASLOT OF INFORMTION ON THE POSTER THEN THEY COULD READ IT WIHOUT NOTICE AND DEVLOP AN OPINION FROM THERE. 

FINAL DESIGN!

MILKSHAKE BADNESS POSTER:

Type was hard to develop in the mILKSHAKE BADNESS POSTER DESIGN. i WANTED TO CREATE ALOT OF FACTS IN THE SHAE OF A MILKSHAKE SO I USED THE SMAE TYPE AS THE LOGO AND BERRY POSTER AND CREATED A FREE FLOWING SHAKE DESIGN. 

SINCE FINISHING THE DESIGN I HAVE NOTOCE THAT THE MILKSHAKE DOESNT LOOK LIKE A MILKSHAKE AND WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THAT.

I KEPT THE COLOUR SCHEME SIMPLE AND BALANCED WITH THE REST OF MY DESIGN S. I also added and kept the shape in the corner and allowed for MB (Milkshake Badness) to me centred in the middle. iT'S ALMOST A NEW LOGO FOR EACH DESIGN AND I THINK IT WORKS WELL IN TYONG ALL THE DESIGNS TOGETRH.

CUT OUT THE FAT POSTER

With this poster design i used the knife and fork i created from the logo design and developed that into a pattern form and sturatucre. i wanted this to be extremely simple so i basically bout out parts of the patter so i could fit in type and allow for information. The colour scheme for has a lightly darker background to allow for the pattern to really stand out. 

QUESTION MARK POSTER 

This design was purely for type only. I wanted to create an image with type, The question will you choose fast food was on my mind so i decided to base this design of fast food and list negative aspects of it in a creative way to allow the audience to work out what the image is trying to present Therefore they can take in the overall message. The arraignment of type was not they hard to begin with. It seemed to get a bit confusing as a carried on as the type is all one colour so the facts get muddled in each other. I feel that the poster works as a whole but there is a lot that needs to be worked on.
