After my T-shirt failure, I decided that screenprinting would have to be done on a stcok consideration.
I chose a light purple card and bright pink design. i FIGURED THAT IT WOULD MAKE THE DESIGN JUMP OUT.
I am screen printing:
- Posters
- Mounted boards (Mount board) Signs for shop displays
- Flyers
- Wrapping Paper
The wallpaper on the right worked well. The use of pink on light grey background makes teh design simple and effective. The use of overlay on the glos fyler however on teh left doesnt work. I feel that i ruined the gloss as the pink colour from screen printing didnt attach properly to the gloss.
The ue of pattern and print i feel looks effective. I like how the design is overlayed but i feel it does look quite busy in retrospect.
Overall i am happy with how screen printing turned out this time. The use of experiemntsing with gloss has also taught me a lot as a process.
I like he simpler versions of the prints, and i feel that the bright pink over the purple stock works best to fit in with the designs.
