Design for Print - Print Techniques - Foiling

Foiling :

I had once again never experiented with foiling and thought it would be benifical.

Process:

When attemoting foiling on differnt stocks the foiling varied and i expeinced some problems. The balck ink toner was not strong enough on the card stock and therefore teh foiling ididnt sstcik as well whcih created n almost dappled effect.

Back Foil:

Colour Variation:

The layered effect of foiling creates an intresting approach to the designs.

The outcome was effective, but the overlapping line was not staright nor centred witch affected the finl print.

I feel that foiling was a unique and eciting printing method that i enjoyed experimenting wit. The process can be attempted in different ways, and i do feel that i did it in teh easiest format but the designs i feel improved when the foil was attached.

Foiing can create a luxoriious and creatiev approach to designs, and i feel it would work well with design for print as it would allow teh user to feel the texture and see teh format of printing in a more interactional way.
