HELLFIRE - MAKING IT A TWO DAY BRIEF

I have decided to set myself a time limit from this point on. I have realised that my designs are NOT devloping the way I would of hoped, and i feel that I am thinking to much about this.

I have also got other briefs that need completing, so I feel that this brief could be limited to two days.
The designs I would like to look quite authentic and relatable to 'student' audiences. The design will still carry the same ideas and proposal of a 'hellfire' but with softer tones.

Hellfire idea:

Soft tones - but still highlight flame
Make applicable for both genders
Create pattern effect?
pattern for beer label?

To make the image seem more commercial i decided that the tones of the red where still to hardsh so i decided to duplicate and blend the image with a contrasting colour.

The use of using purple's and pinks as well as the red allows the design to feel more 'energetic' and convey more movement within the image.

The ides of keeping the design simple and to a minimum should work, but the layout f all the elemnts needs to reflect the ideas I am trying to convey.

Kerning type, diagonal type and type with movemnt will need to be effective.

Experiments with type:

Creating the text to go with the flow of the image, but also making the type stand out and not fall into the image was quite difficult to get right. Times new roman and other typefaces simular didnt work because the background was too busy, but the type looked best over the top of the fire image.
