It's Nice That - Poster Design to support Application

Poster Idea:

To support the application i feel that a poster would be beneficial to help influence the concept and promote to students. Its a basic but very worthwhile thing to do:

I wanted the poster design to be very simple but the main section of it to be the pattern with only a small section of type that would sit below the ITS NICE typeface.

The use of sectioning the poster and messing around with layout works well to develop my image from a busy layout to a more focused clear and precise layout for students to read simply and acknowledge instead of it just being plastered in their face.

Design for Print and Web - ISTD - Design Development - Posters

Poster Devlopment:

I have developed some poster designs that relate to teh authenticness of my designs:

- Readbale yet hard to decipher
- no bright colours
- statement (attention)
- Heavily type based
- Clean simple layout

Layeing image of type, using overlays and halftones to create a computer coded approach to suit the main asthetic of the brief i am creating.

Font used : brish script

Variation:

With these deisgsn my aim was to introdcuce heailiy type based products. I wanted the posters to attct attention therefore using healy type and large scales. I wanted the images to make sense but to also intriue teh reader to read on and gain mor einformation.

I feel that the deisgsns that work best seem to lend themsleves to a 'dull' colour formt and balck and white artboards.
This is because the tpe is clear and effective.

The deisgn tah works best if probably the catfish dark blue deisgn because it best cathes the concept.
