Using the Spring Summer Collection from the actual photo shoot of Ted Baker I started to experiement with layout of images and short bursts of type to co-enside with the Ted Baker brief outlines we set our selves.
I wanted to keep the earthy tones and counrtyside mannor theme so the lookbook had to be formal and present a sense of mature establishment.
Experiemntng with type and image was something i was really looking forward to focusing on within this brief and from teh research i had collected I felt that having a simplistic layout would prompt the above theme.
The introduction of #THAT IS SO BRITISH
Allows the type to focus the main sections of the pages so that audience could see this clearly.
LAYOUT FUNCTIONS:
As a pair, we wanted to still convey a sense of humor, as highlighted in teh brief, so i decided to add in aspects of british food, sayings and icons that could work as a humerous aspect to the lookbook.
After adding in these designs we found that the Lookbook lost a sense of proffesionlim and the idea of a 'country manor theme'.
So we decied to take these sections out.
